Leather Emblems, or patches, can be used to embellish a wide variety of garments and textiles, such as denims, bags, jackets, sweaters, caps and toques, blankets, footwear, and other garment accessories. Leather Emblems can be sewn onto to these items, or applied using low-temperature glue, Velcro® or pressure sensitive backings.

Design elements are produced on the surface of the materials using a choice of techniques, such as debossing, embossing, foil stamping, laser etching or engraving, and silkscreen or UV printing. It is also possible to combined techniques, for example embossing and printing.

• Debossing:
  The design is pressed into the material surface using a custom engraved metal mold, leaving the background raised.
• Embossing:
  The background is pressed into the material surface using a custom engraved metal mold, leaving the design raised.
• Foil Stamping:
  The design is lightly pressed into the material surface with a silver foil, using a custom engraved metal mold.
• Laser Etching:
  The design is etched or engraved into the material surface using a laser cutter.
• Silkscreen / UV Printing:
  The design is printed on the material surface using either silkscreen or UV printing processes.

Leather Emblems are produced using either genuine leather or faux leather materials. Genuine leather is produced from multiple layers of natural, textured leather materials of different grades and qualities, custom dyed to a variety of shades and colours. Faux leather, or simulated PU leather, is produced from multiple layers of synthetic materials and polyurethane sheets, custom coloured and textured to create the feel and look of real leather. A standard, limited range of leather material colours is available, and it may be possible to source or produce custom leather colours relative to order quantity.
